Children & Teen Grief Support Groups
Children and teens ages 5 to 18 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, caregiver, or other significant person in their life.
Children and teens meet in peer groups led by trained, trauma-informed facilitators. Groups use age-appropriate activities including art, play, discussion, and creative expression to help participants explore their feelings, build coping skills, and connect with others who understand grief. Children and teens attend at the same time as their caregiver's group, so the whole family is supported.
Groups meet twice a month. Programs run in semesters aligned with the school calendar. Groups are consistent and structured to foster safety, connection, and trust. Talking is never forced. Kids express grief in many ways, and all of them are welcome here.
