In partnership with local schools, Valerie's House provides closed, on-site grief support groups during the school day. Groups are facilitated by trained professionals using a developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed model.
Groups meet weekly during the school day. Sessions are coordinated in collaboration with school counselors and administrators. Groups are small-group peer support settings.
